Meet Beetlejuice, our California kingsnake and CWR ambassador. Beetlejuice was gifted to Carolina Waterfowl Rescue in January 2025 and he promptly landed the best job a snake can have. He travels with the CWR team to schools and education programs where kids who are sure snakes are scary get to meet a calm, friendly kingsnake up close and change their minds. At his October 28, 2026 check he weighed 292 grams and measured 112 cm, with a demeanor his examiners recorded as “friendly”. In his own words: “Carolina Waterfowl Rescue is the besssssssssst!”
Your sponsorship of Beetlejuice helps provide his food, expert veterinary care, and a safe home for life, and helps keep this little teacher on the road, winning over one classroom at a time.
