ACE (short for Alberta Crow Einstein), our American crow, arrived on December 22, 2022 after a collision in Indian Trail injured her left wing and shoulder. Her wing never healed enough for her to fly free again so she stayed, and in March 2023 she settled into a space of her very own that everyone here calls Ace’s room.
Her beak grows slightly crossed so the team keeps it neatly trimmed. And she has a gift! ACE is fluent in four languages - chicken, duck, crow, and English. Live at a rescue long enough, and a smart crow picks things up! In her own words: “What I love about Carolina Waterfowl Rescue is that I feel like I belong!”
Give a gift with attitude! Your sponsorship of ACE helps provide her food, expert veterinary care, and a safe home for life at Carolina Waterfowl Rescue.
CHOOSE YOUR FORMAT:
Digital Gift ($35): We email the recipient a printable Certificate of Sponsorship plus ACE's bio card with her photo and story.
Mailed Gift ($65): We print and mail the certificate and bio card.
Sponsorships are symbolic. ACE stays home with us and your gift supports the care of all our sanctuary residents. This is a purchase, not a tax-deductible donation.
